Orientica names this release Royal Amber, yet the actual composition spends surprisingly little time on that particular material before its center stage takes over. Bergamot and green notes open with a crisp, understated freshness that gives no hint of the richness building underneath. Melon, pineapple, gourmand accords and amber crowd the center into a sweet, fruity density that shifts the fragrance considerably from its clean start. Woody notes, vanilla and musk wrap things up warm and smooth, giving Royal Amber its signature staying power once fully developed as an Extrait de Parfum. Amber gourmand is the fitting classification, dense enough for evening wear while remaining workable on a cooler afternoon. It suits dinners, celebrations and any cool-weather occasion calling for a fragrance with considerable richness. You may return any unopened merchandise in its original condition, including original sealed packaging within 30 days of invoice date and you will receive a full refund, less shipping and gift-wrapping charges.
