Description

Lanvin opens Eclat D'Arpege on lilac rather than the citrus formula most fresh florals default to at the top, setting a distinctly green, floral tone from the start. Green lilac and petitgrain introduce the composition together, crisp and slightly bitter, establishing that green theme immediately. Green tea, peach blossom, red peony, wisteria and Chinese osmanthus crowd the middle into an unusually full floral bouquet, soft and slightly fruity, deepening that green opening considerably. Musk, cedar and amber round things out warm and smooth, giving Eclat D'Arpege Eau de Parfum a comforting, grounded conclusion. Green floral is the fitting classification, light enough for daytime wear yet substantial enough to carry into evening without feeling out of place. It suits office settings, casual outings and dinners about equally well. Spring and summer favor the green, floral top most, though the amber close keeps it wearable into cooler weather too. Five materials in the middle stage alone gives this considerably more floral density than its crisp, green opening suggests.

About the Brand

Lanvin is known as a high-end, luxury fashion house today, but it was founded in 1889 as a small boutique by a lady called Jeanne Lanvin. Jeanne’s daughter, Marguerite became a beautiful inspiration for her to design dresses. She made dresses for Marguerite as well as her dolls. It was in 1924 that Jeanne Lanvin decided to launch her range of perfumes in the attempt to create global dynamics. She considered it an important part of her conceptualization of fashion and lifestyle. My Sin was the first perfume launched by Lanvin and was formulated by a Russian lady called Mary Zede.

You may return any unopened merchandise in its original condition, including original sealed packaging within 30 days of invoice date and you will receive a full refund, less shipping and gift-wrapping charges.
