Aldehydes are a classic, almost old-fashioned material most associated with vintage French perfumery, which makes their pairing with pineapple here an bridge between two very different fragrance eras. That aldehydic veil, alongside cardamom and pineapple, gives the opening a soapy-sparkling quality crossed with tropical sweetness rarely seen in the same composition. Continuing that push-pull through the heart are marine breeze, lotus flower and green apple, watery and fruity-floral all at once.
