Budget colognes rarely commit to four separate fruit notes in a single opening, but Invento does exactly that before the composition even reaches its center stage. Bergamot, lemon, mandarin and a red fruits accord get things moving with a juicy, layered citrus burst that avoids the thin, single-note openings common in mass-market colognes. Rose, jasmine sambac, geranium and cinnamon steer the center toward a spiced floral character, adding complexity the top alone never hints at. Amber and musk finish things off, simple but effective, holding the fruit and floral stages together on skin longer than that short final list might suggest.
