Celebrity Perfumes: Are They Really Worth the Hype?

Paris Hilton has been releasing perfumes since the early 2000s, and Rose Rush proves she knows exactly what she is doing. This one is flirty, ultra-feminine, and very wearable. It opens with floral notes of rose petals, litchi, and neroli. Give it a few minutes, and it melts into the heart of May rose, peony, and papaya — tropical without going full-on fruit punch — with the background whisper of amber and musk. The dry down is smooth, slightly sweet, and skin-hugging.

Longevity? Solid six hours.

Projection? A light trail that follows you like a secret admirer.

It's ideal for daytime or date night, and while the bottle is shaped like a flowing pink gown (very Parisian), the fragrance itself is surprisingly grown-up. 

Why do we love this fragrance? Rose Rush is glittery pink, yes. Chic, pretty, and worth the spritz. 

"The Clean Girl Original."

Long before the clean girl aesthetic became a trend, JLo's Glow had already bottled it. Launched in 2002, Glow was the fresh-out-of-the-shower fragrance that made you feel like you had your life together—even if you were running late and eating cereal over the sink. The dry down is smooth, featuring woody notes, orris root, and musk that ground the sweetness with a touch of sophistication. Fantasy lasts surprisingly long for a sweet fragrance—around seven hours—and projects with flair. The bottle, pink with rhinestones, appears to belong in a pop star's vanity drawer. 

Why do we love this fragrance? If you like playful, girly, and all things pink-sprinkled, Fantasy delivers. Nostalgic and addictive.

Thank U Next may have a cheeky name, but the fragrance is polished. It opens with a burst of raspberries and pear, which feels youthful but not childish. Why do we love this fragrance? A happy surprise. Sweet but grown, bold but wearable. One of the strongest in Ariana's lineup.

Meow is for the days you want to feel cozy, fun, and just a little extra. This perfume begins with mandarin, pear, jasmine, and gardenia, then transitions into honeysuckle, orange blossom, and lily of the valley. It is soft and fluffy, like a cashmere hoodie with a touch of attitude. The standout here is the vanilla—it feels creamy and milky without being heavy. It is blended with a hint of musk, sandalwood, and amber, so it does not fade after a couple of hours. You can expect wear of four to six hours. The bottle, shaped like a lilac cat, is a love-it-or-leave-it design. It leans playful, but the fragrance inside is surprisingly polished. 

Why do we love this fragrance?  Meow is playful yet pretty, sweet without being cloying. If you like vanilla-forward fragrances, this one's a keeper.
