A privately owned fashion and lifestyle company, Sean John was established by music artist, Sean Combs. The fashion debut of the line happened with a sportswear collection for men in the1999 spring season. There are a number of celebrities who have endorsed this brand by appearing on its marketing and advertising material including musicians Mariah Carey, Nelly, Usher, Nas, T.I., Fabolous, Mary J. Blige, Pharrell Williams and others.
