An offshoot of the larger Abercrombie and Fitch, Hollister first opened to the public in the year 2000. Producing casual clothing reminiscent of a laid-back Californian lifestyle. These products included graphic tees, flip-flops, jeans, and swimwear. The company’s popularity among teenage audiences allowed for its expansion, releasing the first Hollister fragrance in 2001. Since then, the company has only continued to grow, being named one of the top five clothing brands for teenagers in 2019.
