During his lifetime, from 1927 to 2004, Geoffrey Beene, through his brand Beene and his work, has influenced fashion trends and upped the technical finesse in fashion. He started his brand if fashion in 1963, after years of working, assisting and studying fashion in various parts of the world. He was the very first designer from the United States to show his collections at Milan. His products include clothing like evening gowns, dresses and other women’s wear, bed linen and eyewear. His products are timeless, iconic and irreverent, just like him.
