Only a few names in the jewelry making business have the kind of history as Fabergé. One of the oldest business in the industry, Fabergé came into existence in 1842. Though it was founded by Gustav Fabergé, Peter Fabergé, his son is credited with turning the small business into the luxury jewelry firm that it is now known to be world-over. It all started in the mid-1880s with making 50 bejeweled eggs (which are treated as masterpieces till date) for the Russian royal family. Today Fabergé is undoubtedly among the most famous names in luxury jewelry making, known for its rare collection and rich heritage.
