Salvatore Ferragamo, an Italian footwear designer has worked with several Hollywood celebrities during the 1920s. He returned to Italy to establish the eponymous business that made innovative handmade footwear. Salvatore Ferragamo S.p.A., was established in 1927, and serves as the Ferragamo Group’s parent company, which is among the topmost names in the industry of luxury goods. It focuses on creating, manufacturing and selling leather goods, footwear, silk products, men and women’s perfumes, accessories and clothing. All these goods are manufactured in Italy. Ferragamo’s product range also extends to watches and eyewear, which are manufactured by licensed third parties whether in Italy or abroad.
